Monthly clinics are supported by donations and fundraising projects. 100% of funds raised are used for clinic operations.
Clinic costs average 10,000MX, with each clinic treating an average of 20 animals
BAHIA MATANCHEN ANIMALS holds monthly clinics the second Saturday of every month at our permanent clinic in the Aticama Museo Plaza.
155 animals were sterilized in 2015, 210 in 2016 and 242 in 2017.
BMA is supported by volunteers and some paid Mexican staff. Volunteers are what make BMA a fun and satisfying effort. Volunteers are needed in these areas: clinic set-up, appointment in-take, post-op care for cats and dogs, providing lunch on clinic days, transportation of animals and their owners, cleaning of surgical implements, closing after a clinic. We need volunteers for fundraising events too. If you want to help in some other way, please let us know your ideas.
